Thanks to your incredible generosity, we continue to make a positive impact on our Saint Louis community in our banner 140th year of service! Founded in 1883, by women for women, The Woman's Exchange of St. Louis is a volunteer-led nonprofit organization. We are proud to share that 140 years later, The Exchange is thriving and steadfastly committed to our mission of helping those in need lead financially stable and productive lives.
WHO WE SERVE
Living Artists: We provide materials at cost, a marketplace and inventory management empowering artists to earn a livable income. Over 100 artisans completed 16,000 hours of work in 2022.
Early Entrepreneurs: We offer access to a commercial grade kitchen, retail storefront and business training allowing female entrepreneurs to grow. In the past year, two entrepreneurs successfully launched their food businesses from our kitchen and now operate independently.
Refugees & Immigrants: Through our Immigrant Training Program, we offer on-site training, social support services, language translation and transportation assistance. In 2022, the ITP program supported four participants.
GOING FORWARD
